Good morning, BroadwayWorld! Because we know all our readers eat, sleep and breathe Broadway, what could be better than waking up to it? This weekend's big news: James Monroe Iglehart co-hosts THE VIEW, DONKEY PUNCH and MALA HIERBA begin off-Broadway, BIG FISH swims back to Chicago and more!

The concert is billed as 'an evening of song, dance, backstage anecdotes, and special surprises from everyone's favorite newsboys (and girls).' Directed by Yvette Kojic, music directed by Benjamin Rauhala, and produced by Shoshana Feinstein.

The New York Civil Liberties Union, the New York State affiliate of the ACLU, just welcomed an array of award-winning performers for Broadway Stands Up for Freedom, its annual benefit concert, which was held last night, July 21, at the NYU Skirball Center for Performing Arts (566 LaGuardia Place, NYC).performaers included: Adam Chanler-Berat, Justin Guarini, Zach Unger, Barrett Foa, Lena Hall, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Condola Rashad, Robin de Jesus, Seth Rudetsky, Telly Leung and more!
