The live production, which was turned into a record album, starred a group of emerging comedians including John Belushi, Christopher Guest and Chevy Chase. Today, the iconic brand reveals the diverse ensemble of notable rising stars who will take center-stage in Lemmings: 21st Century, the reinvention of the iconic off-Broadway hit from composer Henry Koperski, writer Andrew Farmer and Director Annie Tippe, for an exclusive two-show engagement at New York City's Joe's Pub on March 14 and March 15.

For the past five decades, National Lampoon has pushed boundaries in the comedy universe. In honor of its 50th anniversary, National Lampoon, in keeping with its half-century-old legacy, today announces the creation of a reboot to its legendary off-Broadway musical sketch hit Lemmings, which helped launched the careers of John Belushi, Christopher Guest, Harold Ramis, Anne Beatts, and more. Lemmings: 21st Century is written by Larson Grant Winner, Andrew Farmer, with a score written by downtown music-comedy guru Henry Koperski, and directed by red-hot theater artist Annie Tippe.

Applications Open For Rhinebeck Writers Retreat Summer Residencies

Kathy Evans, Founding Executive Director of Rhinebeck Writers Retreat, announced applications are open for this summer. Nine musical theatre writing teams will be awarded nine consecutive weeklong residencies in the Hudson Valley between June 30 and September 1. Each team gets a private retreat to focus solely on writing their new musical. All writers are eligible and their musical can be at any stage of development. All costs are covered including travel up to $750, and each writer gets a $500 stipend. Writers with children are welcomed to apply. Ars Nova Hosts OVER/UNDER UNPLUGGED, Three Free Concerts

Ars Nova, "one of the most adventurous Off-Broadway companies" (New York Times), under the leadership of Founding Artistic Director Jason Eagan and Managing Director Renee Blinkwolt, will host Over/Under Unplugged, a free concert series following select Friday evening performances of Andrew R. Butler's Rags Parkland Sings the Songs of The Future. Concerts will feature performers from The Future and special guests performing unplugged and up close. They'll #playforchange with any donations dropped in their bucket going to select charities including the National Network of Abortion Funds, The Trevor Project, and The National Eating Disorders Association.

Theatre Raleigh Announces Expanded Family Series

Theatre Raleigh's Family Series is back and better than ever! Last year they welcomed more than 2,000 young people and their families into their audience, and they are expected to exceed that this season. They will be bringing back last year's breakout hit, A Midsummer Night's Dream (March 2- 18) and follow that with the premiere of a brand new show Adventure Road: A Story of Huck & Tom (April 13-29). To top it all off this summer they will be introducing a Summer Camp (July 16-27) and will be expanding their beloved Family Series into the fall.
