Broadway Veterans Heather Parcells (A Chorus Line, Finding Neverland), Tracee Beazer (Something Rotten, CAMP), James Patterson (Gigi, Beauty and the Beast), Brian Keane (Warhorse, Cyrano) will join the cast of the new media television project, Off The Runway.

With a book by Tony Award winnerTerrence McNally and music and lyrics by Drama Desk Award winner David Yazbek, the hilarious and heartwarming story follows six unemployed Buffalo steelworkers who, in need of quick cash and low on prospects, come up with the outrageous idea to put on a strip act after seeing the local women's wild enthusiasm for touring Chippendales dancers. Opening night is tomorrow, September 11. This year, the Rep celebrates its 30th anniversary production of A Christmas Carol by refurbishing its iconic set and introducing exciting new elements to the show, which is directed by 29-year-old Kyle Hatley. A Christmas Carol runs November 19-December 26 at Spencer Theatre on the UMKC campus, and is produced in partnership with UMKC Theatre.
