Last night, actor and comedian T.J. Miller hosted the 21ST ANNUAL CRITICS' CHOICE AWARDS, broadcast from the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica on A&E, Lifetime and LMN.

See 'Songbird,' a gem of a show, now at 59E59 through November 29th. It is written by Michael Kimmel, directed by JV Mercanti with original music and lyrics by Lauren Prichard. Based on 'The Seagull' by Anton Chekhov, it is set in Tennessee and features an excellent country music score.

The Public Theater announced today that Stacey Sargeant will join the cast of ECLIPSED as "Helena" beginning Tuesday, November 3.

Through out the past week, BroadwayWorld has been brinigng you coverage of the 67th Annual Emmy Awards with a decidedly theatre-specific focus, and tonight will be no different. Directed by Obie Award winner Liesl Tommy and featuring Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong'o in her New York stage debut, this powerful story of survival and resilience begins previews at The Public Theater Tuesday, September 29 and was originally scheduled to run through Sunday, November 8. It will now run an additional week through Sunday, November 15 with an official press opening on Wednesday, October 14.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, former RAISING HOPE star Garret Dillahunt is set to guest star on Fox's BROOKLYN NINE-NINE. It marks the first time he's returned to the network.

The Pasadena Playhouse announced that they will present Matthew Lopez's multi-award winning play THE WHIPPING MAN, which will replace the previously announced production of William Gibson's TWO FOR THE SEESAW as the fourth production of the 2014-2015 season. THE WHIPPING MAN is produced in association with South Coast Repertory, where the show will play January 4-25, 2015, and then transfer to The Pasadena Playhouse February 3 - March 1, 2015 with a press opening on February 4.
