Nathan Lane presents Sleepwalk With Me, a new comedy written by and starring Mike Birbiglia, which is currently playing The Bleecker Street Theater, off Broadway (45 Bleecker Street Theater, just East of Lafayette Street). Performances began October 17th, 2008. The show had an official opening on November 11th, BroadwayWorld sent out cameras to mix and mingle with the celebratory crowd as they cheered Birbiglia on!

The Manhattan Theatre Club (Lynne Meadow, Artistic Director;Barry Grove, Executive Producer) world premiere production of Nick Whitby's 'To Be or Not To Be' officially opened on Broadway on Tuesday October 14th. Four-time Tony Award-nominee Tovah Feldshuh has returned to the New York stage in Irena's Vow, a new play by Dan Gordon, now running at Baruch Performing Arts Center - 55 Lexington Avenue @ 25th Street (between Lexington & Third Aves). The new drama marks Ms. Feldshuh's first New York stage appearance since her triumphant (and Tony Award-nominated) turn in Golda's Balcony (Broadway's longest-running one-woman show).

On Tuesday, September 16th Barnes & Noble Lincoln Square store hosted performances and a CD signing by the cast of 2008 Tony Award-winning Best Musical In The Heights. The performance was followed by a CD signing. Barnes & Noble at Lincoln Square is located at 1972 Broadway at 66th Street.

'American Idol' Season Five winner, Taylor Hicks, made his Broadway debut when he joined the cast of GREASE in the role of 'Teen Angel' on Friday, June 6, 2008 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre. On Sunday, September 7th, 2008 Hicks took his final bow after a successful three month run met with rave reviews.
