CBS Entertainment has announced casting news for its new series set for the 2012- 2013 season. Among the casting announcements will be Sarah Jones ('Alcatraz') who will join the cast of VEGAS as a series regular in the second episode of the freshman series.

According to TVLine.com, actress Amy Acker is set to guest star on ABC's ONCE UPON A TIME. The actress has recently been seen on TV's 'Angel' and 'Dollhouse'. On the NBC drama, she will play the role of a love interest for one of the Seven Dwarves, Grumpy as well as his alter ego 'Leroy'. The episode is scheduled to air in late winter.

LIONSGATE® (NYSE: LGF), a leading global entertainment company, acquired worldwide distribution rights to the horror film THE CABIN IN THE WOODS from MGM and scheduled the film to be released on April 13, 2012, it was announced today jointly by Joe Drake, President of the Motion Picture Group, and Jason Constantine, President of Acquisitions and Co-Productions. The Boomerang Theatre Company debuted The Legacy Reading Series, a new annual event featuring readings of plays from past seasons, last week to benefit the company. The series is intended to celebrate past works, while giving new audiences a chance to experience them. All proceeds from The Legacy Series are intended benefit Boomerang new play development programs.
