Michael Angarano Cast as Jack's Brother on THIS IS US

Michael Angarano has been announced to play Nicky, Jack's brother on THIS IS US season three, according to Deadline. The show will meet Nicky when it goes back in time to Vietnam to chronicle Jack's time during the war.

Nicky was introduced on THIS IS US in a flashback scene with Jack when both were children. Audiences learned Nicky was killed in the war when a group photo was shown of US servicemen from Vietnam where Nicky was alongside Jack.

Series creator Dan Fogelman, the creator of THIS IS US, told Deadline that the series will be "diving heavy" into patriarch Jack's experience in Vietnam in Season 3.

This Is Us stars Mandy Moore, Ventimiglia, Sterling K. Brown, Hartley, Chrissy Metz, Susan Kelechi Watson and Chris Sullivan.

Angarano currently stars as Eddie Zeidel in I'M DYING UP HERE on Showtime. He can also be seen in SUN DOGS alongside Melissa Benoist, Allison Janney and Ed O'Neill on Netflix.

This Is Us Season 3 premieres Tuesday, September 25 at 9 PM on NBC.
