Kondo's neo-beat style of poetry is a distillation of the themes and language found in the poetry of Corso, Kerouac and Micheline, as well as their heroes before them - Shelley, Basho and Blake.'

The Bergen County Players (BCP) closes its highly successful 2013-2014 season with a presentation of 'My Favorite Wife' - a Players Radio Theatre Production. The exhibition (on view from August 19, 2013 through January 5, 2014) features masterpieces including portraits of well-known subjects such as the poet Alfred, Lord Tennyson, scientist Sir John Herschel, and philosopher Thomas Carlyle.
