Today marks the 9000th performance in London's West End of MAMMA MIA! To celebrate the occasion, an all new video has been released.

MAMMA MIA! at London’s Novello Theatre is now extending its booking period to Saturday 1 October 2022.  MAMMA MIA! is now in its 23rd year in London.  

The name that used to strike fear and envy in many, that of shipping magnet, Aristotle Onassis, will now be coming as an Off-Broadway production. Onassis. The one-man show, written and starring renowned British actor, Anthony Skordi, is slated to open at NYC’s American Theatre of Actors in mid- February 2022. 

The Greek National Opera (GNO) announces the return of its fall programming (October, November, December) for the Alternative Stage, the company's state-of-the-art performance venue dedicated to new music, experimentation, and creative dialogue between emerging and more established composers and theater artists.

The Greek National Opera today announced the programming for its fall 2021 season, which runs from October through December and marks the company's return to indoor performance at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC). Featuring opera, ballet, dance, and concert performances, much of the fall lineup is dedicated to celebrating 200 years since the Greek revolution began.

Mazz Murray leads the cast as Donna, Richard Trinder as Sam, Neil Moors as Harry, Stephen Beckett as Bill, and Sophie Matthew as Lisa.  They are joined by Josie Benson as Tanya, Gemma Goggin as Rosie, Emma Mullen as Sophie, Jack Danson as Sky, Tegan Bannister as Ali, Michael Nelson as Eddie and Alexandros Beshonges as Pepper, with Natalie Langston playing the role of Donna at certain performances.

It is a filmic installation displaying six chapters from the history of the Jewish community of Thessaloniki, projected simultaneously on three cinema screens. The project was curated by Orestis Andreadakis, artistic director of the Thessaloniki Film Festival.

Athos Danellis’ original historical shadow puppet play in three acts Byron in Greece brings Karagiozis, our legendary childhood hero, and the Greek adventures of Lord Byron to your screen via GNO TV.

Based on the historical testimonies on her life and work, as well as on the repentant Byron’s subsequent letters and poems about his abandoned daughter, the prolific new music virtuoso Yannis Kyriakides gives voice to this unique historical figure –with her equally colourful, “Byronic” personal life– in a work of multimedia music theatre that showcases and draws on the implications of her pioneering scientific research.

The Greek National Opera will be presented one of the most famous and most impressive works by Iannis Xenakis for solo percussion, Psappha (Sappho), along with the work for solo cello Kottos. The work will be performed by soloists Alexandros Giovanos (percussion) and Nicolas Prevezianos (cello).
