With a troupe of six actors portraying the iconic and dangerous female temptress, Salome - the original femme fatale - Siladi creates a theatrical collage that depicts myriad Salomes found throughout history. The Dirty Blondes announce their second 24-hour play festival, SIN IN THE CITY on February 10, 2013 at the renowned Galapagos Art Space. The Brooklyn-based collective will bring together a group of playwrights, directors, and actors to conceive, write, and perform seven short plays over the course of 24-hours. The culminating performance will feature seven original 10-minute plays centered on each of the 'seven deadly sins' and set in modern day New York City. Founding members, Ashley Jacobson & Alexandra Siladi will team up to create interludes performed throughout the night. Music, drinks and dancing to follow immediately. (more...)
