An all new trailer for Original Theatre Company's The Haunting of Alice Bowles has been released.

Janie Dee has had to withdraw from the production of The Haunting of Alice Bowles for personal reasons, but the producers, Original Theatre Company, have announced that Tamzin Outhwaite will now be playing the titular character in this new supernatural thriller by Philip Franks, adapted for the first time from the M.R. James chilling short ghost story, The Experiment.

The Agatha Christie favourite Witness for the Prosecution appears to be a jury-pleaser. Opening in 2017, it's currently booking at London's historic County Hall until September 2020 - surpassing the play's original West End run. We talk to cast members Taz Skylar and Alexandra Guelff about performing the show in such a unique venue and why Christie's work is still so popular.

Now in its third year, Witness for the Prosecution has today released a first glimpse at production images featuring its killer fifth cast, who had their first performance on 19 November 2019.

Witness for the Prosecution this week celebrates its 2nd birthday at London's County Hall. Director Lucy Bailey (Ghosts, Love From A Stranger, The Graduate) thrillingly places the audience in the thick of the action in a?oethe comfiest seats in Londona?? (New York Times), or observing from the Press Gallery, as Agatha Christie's gripping tale of justice, passion and betrayal unfolds around them.

Philip Franks' take on The Tempest is one of four productions playing in rep at the theatre over the summer (the others being Hamlet, Twelfth Night and Henry V). Franks builds on the magic and mystery at the heart of The Tempest in a production which takes a while to find its groove but is not without a healthy smattering of captivating moments.

Casting has been announced for the 2019 York company of SHAKESPEARE'S ROSE THEATRE, the award-winning pop-up Shakespearean Theatre, which makes a triumphant return to the foot of Clifford's Tower in York this summer with new productions of Hamlet, Henry V, The Tempest and Twelfth Night. The plays have been selected from across the genres, offering something for everyone, and will be performed in repertory by two companies of actors.

Following a slew of four and five star reviews for performances in York, Brighton, Salisbury and Oxford, Alan Bennett's The Habit of Art comes to the Belgrade Theatre this November in a new production from Original Theatre Company.
