Uncork the Champagne and raise a glass. La MaMa Moves! dance festival is readying itself for its 10th anniversary festivities while its artists are busily preparing a dozen world, U.S. and New York premieres to celebrate its decade of dance.

This June, Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival presents Three Acts, Two Dancers, One Radio Host, a special pre-Festival performance starring Ira Glass, the host and executive producer of the famed public radio program This American Life. 'The Tina Fey of dance' (Sarah Kaufman, The Washington Post) Monica Bill Barnes and fellow dancer and collaborator Anna Bass perform with Glass, bringing the unlikely art forms of talk radio and dance together for a production that is 'unapologetically human and refreshingly relatable' (Brian Schaefer, The New York Times). This limited engagement will be presented in the Ted Shawn Theatre for two performances only, June 13 at 8pm and June 14 at 2pm.

Due to popular demand BEDLAM is adding three more performances of Jane Austen's Sense & Sensibility adapted by Kate Hamill. Sense & Sensibility is currently playing in rep with a production of Anton Chekhov's The Seagull adapted by Anya Reiss now through December 21 at the Sheen Center (18 Bleecker Street, NYC). The added performances for Sense & Sensibility are Sunday, December 7 at 2pm, Tuesday, December 16 at 8pm, and Sunday, December 21 at 2pm. The Department of Theater & Dance at UCSB continues its 2013-2014 season of drama and dance with the Spring Dance Concert - 'Five Quiets,' under the direction of UCSB Theater & Dance Associate Professor Mira Kingsley and Lecturer Christina McCarthy. The Spring Dance concert performs today, April 11-12, 2014 at 8:00 pm and April 13 at 2:00 pm in the Hatlen Theater on the UCSB campus.

Dance New Amsterdam(DNA) welcomes back 2011 - 2012 RAW Directions artists Elke Luyten and Kira Alker, as well as DNA faculty member Kendra Portier, joining for the first of two SPLICE series this season. The series provides a collaborative performance setting that juxtaposes contemporary artists that share a common thread, however subtle or tangential. Luyten and Alker's Studies of Inertia is a world premiere encompassing Inertia, Part I, which was performed as part of DNA's last season's RAW Directions program. After almost a decade of extensive work with choreographers such as David Dorfman, DNA gives Portier the spotlight for her world premiere of Beautiful Weather for an Air Raid.

Tin Lily Productions, a Brooklyn based company dedicated to the production of socially relevant theatre, is producing 'Woyzeck' or 'The Endless Cycle,' a new adaptation and composition by William Lewis and Charlie Biscotto based on the original text by Georg Buchner. Performances will be held at The Secret Theatre in Long Island City and are scheduled to run from tonight, November 7th through November 18th, Wednesday through Saturday evenings at 8 PM, with Matinee performances Saturdays at 3pm and Sundays at 5 PM.
