Ann Hampton Callaway and Liz Callaway brought their show Here Come The Callaways to Barrington Stage Company last night and Broadwayworld was there.

Chatting with BroadwayWorld Australia on the eve of their trip to Oz, the siblings talk theme songs, proudest moments, 'sister lunches' and cocktail courage.

Jim Caruso and Billy Stritch have become known as 'The Entertainer's Entertainers,' thanks in part to their long-running Sunday night residency at Bemelmans Bar at The Carlyle Hotel. The musical duo has been joined at the grand piano by Bono, Liza Minnelli and Michael Feinstein, among many others. This past Sunday night's show was a parade of theatrical types, including Linda Lavin, (currently starring in Nicky Silver's Too Much Sun), who belted a torch song. TACT/The Actors Company Theatre, the critically acclaimed company voted 'Company of the Year' by The Wall Street Journal, will celebrate its 21st Anniversary of presenting 'neglected or rarely produced works of literary merit' at its annual Spring Gala tonight, April 29th at The University Club (One East 54th Street). The celebratory evening will kick off at 6:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception featuring the popular 'Pick-a-Prize' Raffle, where attendees can select which prize they want to win, followed by dinner and live auction featuring celebrity auctioneer David Silvermanat 7:30 p.m.

Back in the day, she played 'em all, including the Continental Baths (yes, Bette Midler was not the only singer to play the famed location). Just last night, Theater for the New City paid tribute to the playwright and theater critic Mario Fratti (whose adaptation of the Federico Fellini film 8 ½ became the Broadway musical NINE) at the 11th annual LOVE 'N COURAGE benefit at the National Arts Club (15 Gramercy Park South) in New York City. An annual evening to benefit TNC's Emerging Playwrights Program, this year's LOVE 'N COURAGE event featured appearances by Liliane Montevecchi, Oscar winner F. Murray Abraham, two-time Tony winner Tammy Grimes accompanied by Alex Rybeck, singer Anna Bergman accompanied by William Hicks, Austin Pendleton, Katharine Cullison, cabaret star KT Sullivan, Inma Heredia, Human Kinetics Movement Arts, Rachel Klein Dance Company, Jocab Merrick Storms, the Yip Harburg Foundation Rainbow Troupe, and Michael-David Gordon and TNC's Street Theater Company. Anthony Warlow, Australia's leading star of musical theatre and one of the world's most renowned stage performers, returns home this June with Tony-Award winner Faith Prince for an exclusive concert event titled Direct From Broadway.
