The Broadway at Birdland concert series will present JEFF HARNAR in "Does This Song Make Me Look Fat?" on Monday, August 27 at 7pm. Musical Director for the concert will be Alex Rybeck, with Mark Minkler on bass and Ray Marchica on drums.

The Old Vic Tunnels, the sister theater company to The Old Vic, whose Artistic Director is Kevin Spacey, has expressed interest in staging the new musical DAMASCUS SQUARE during its 2012 calendar.

Feinstein's at Loews Regency continues its Spring 2012 season with the debut of multi-award winning singer Jennifer Sheehan in her new show "I Know A Place." Sheehan and her trio traverse the vast spectrum of music that was the sensational soundtrack of the '60s. Peggy Herman released a brand new recording of "Herman on Herman," her tribute to Broadway legend Jerry Herman, at Feinstein's at the Loews Regency, on Sunday May 6. The one-night-only concert featured many of the songs from the show's premiere in May of last year, plus additional material that was added to the project in the intervening months. An Evening With Marty Panzer' (Barry Manilow's first lyricist) completed two sold out shows Sat. April 28th, adding a 2d show on April 29th at the Triad Theatre, to benefit the Manilow Music Project which provides instruments to kids in need.

The Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs presented the 26th Annual MAC Awards Show on March 29th. The awards ceremony was held at B.B. King Blues Club, and the show was directed by Lennie Watts and produced by Julie Miller. BWW was there to cover the event. Check out the photos below!

Broadway star and legendary entertainer Donna McKechnie will be heating up two different Florida stages this month, beginning this weekend, where she'll be doing two performances of MY MUSICAL COMEDY LIFE, launching the inaugural season of the new Plaza Theatre in Manalapan, which has been engineered by Florida based Producer, Alan Jacobson.

Concert and cabaret artist Anna Bergman returned to Feinstein's at Loews Regency (540 Park Avenue @ 61st Street) on Friday, January 13 and Saturday, January 14 (8:30pm). Anna premiered her new show "You & the Night & the Music: An Evening of Musical Imports & Exports" featuring her musical director and arranger Alex Rybeck, Jered Egan on bass and directed by Jeff Harnar.
