Celebrated astrophysicist, author and science communicator Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson brings his space-centered and family-friendly U.S. speaking tour to Philadelphia on February 25 at 7:30 p.m. at the Merriam Theater. The Emmy Award winning Tyson is host of FOX's 2014 Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey series and radio show StarTalk. Tyson will share his passion for astrophysics, astronomy, and cosmology in an evening of engaging conversation on science, exploration, and the world as we know it.

The windows in St Mary's Church, Fairford, represent the most complete set of medieval stained glass windows in any parish church in England. They were described by the Chair of the National Trust Sir Simon Jenkins as: "One of England's out-standing galleries of Church art" and the late Poet Laureate, Sir John Betjeman, chose the lower half of the Great West Window as the luxury he wished to take to his desert island when he appeared on BBC radio 4's Desert Island Discs.

Braden Abraham Named Acting Artistic Director of Seattle Rep

Seattle Repertory Theatre's Board of Trustees announced today Braden Abraham's appointment as Acting Artistic Director, effective immediately. Abraham formerly served as Associate Artistic Director and has been on the artistic staff of Seattle Rep since 2003. The appointment, extending through June 30, 2016, comes on the heels of the death of Artistic Director Jerry Manning, who passed away suddenly in April.
