Deadline reports that Broadway vet Lily Rabe has signed on to the cast of Edward Zwick's PAWN SACRIFICE. The actress will join previously announced cast member Tobey Maguire in the biopic of legendary American chess champion Bobby Fischer.
Ian Rickson directs Brendan Coyle (Mickey), Rupert Grint (Sweets), Daniel Mays (Potts), Colin Morgan(Skinny), Ben Whishaw (Baby) and Tom Rhys Harries (Silver Johnny) in a major West End revival of Jez Butterworth's award-winning Mojo, reuniting director and writer who previously collaborated on the play's world premiere at the Royal Court in 1995. Mojo will preview at the Harold Pinter Theatre from 26 October 2013 with press night on 13 November and is booking to 25 January 2014. The major motion picture CBGB will have its US festival premiere at this year's CBGB Music & Film Festival the five-day festival/conference that will take place in New York City from Wednesday, October 9 to Sunday, October 13. Based on the renowned New York club, credited as being the birthplace of American indie & punk, CBGB will kick off this year's festival. The Landmark Sunshine Theater on E. Houston St. will serve as the conference and film festival hub.
