National Alliance for Musical Theatre presents its 29th Annual FESTIVAL OF NEW MUSICALS, set for today, October 19, and tomorrow, October 20, 2017 at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues). The Festival kicked off yesterday, October 18, with its celebrated concert, The 46th Minute.

Two hundred performances down and the Factory is still open for business! The new Broadway musical Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory officially opened Sunday, April 23, 2017 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre (205 West 46th Street). Just yesterday, the company was joined by their new neighbors at BOND 45, to commemorate 200 performances on Broadway with a mountain of chocolate mousse fit for the Factory. The new musical October Sky, inspired by the Universal Pictures film and 'Rocket Boys' by Homer H. Hickam Jr. will receive a developmental lab from November 9-November 10, 2017 in New York City.

Just announced, the Broadway-aimed new musical ANGELS, produced by Marcus Cheong & Mark Kang, will release an original studio cast recording.

Producers Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures (Mark Kaufman), Langley Park Productions (Kevin McCormick) and Neal Street Productions (Sam Mendes, Caro Newling) announced today a new block of tickets on sale for Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory through Sunday, September 2, 2018.

Each year, the US Open Wheelchair Tournament hosts a fun evening for players before competition starts. This year, 12 wheelchair athletes took in the Broadway show Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
