Last night, the cast of the Broadway musical 'Ain't Too Proud: The Life and Times of The Temptations' sang a special medley performance of 'Get Ready' and 'Ain't Too Proud to Beg' for the Tonight Show audience.

Get ready 'cause here they come! Ain't Too Proud, which tells the story of Motown's legendary Temptations, is opening tonight at Broadway's Imperial Theatre! To celebrate, we've collected some of the group's most iconic songs from their expansive library spanning over five decades and put them into a playlist so you can have sunshine even on a cloudy day. Take a listen below!

The cast has been announced for the upcoming production of 'Indecent' by Pulitzer Prize winner Paula Vogel. This Tony Award-nominated play will be produced at the Ahmanson Theatre in a co-production with Huntington Theatre Company. Directed by Tony Award winner Rebecca Taichman, 'Indecent' runs from June 5 through July 7, 2019. The opening is set for June 9.

There is something special about the magic which is created during a live theater performance that cannot be duplicated on television or film as the interaction with an audience allows well-written and directed stories, starring incredibly talented actors, to soar into the history books as an event not to miss. Such is the case in LACKAWANNA BLUES, Tony Award-winning actor and talented stage director Ruben Santiago-Hudson's theatrical memoir in which he returns to his roots in a tour-de-force performance accompanied throughout by Grammy-winning blues guitarist, composer and actor Chris Thomas King.

Ain't Too Proud - The Life and Times of The Temptations will make its national late-night television debut on NBC's 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,' on Thursday, March 21st. This televised performance will tape mere moments before the new Broadway musical's Opening Night performance is scheduled to begin.

Theatre of NOTE's production of 'For The Love Of (or, the roller derby play)' written by Gina Femia, which Center Theatre Group has remounted at the Kirk Douglas Theatre as part of their third annual Block Party: Celebrating Los Angeles Theatre, blasted into Culver City with a barrage of brilliant direction, choreography, artistic style and acting. And after seeing the original production in its super-small space, I can tell you the new production soars by encompassing ever possible inch of space, thanks to scenic designer Eli Smith, with enough impressive roller derby action to make you forget not one pair of skates ever touches the floor! That marvel of perfect direction and choreography can be credited to Rhonda Kohl who has created almost constant roller derby action utilizing the movement and acting skills of her talented cast

The full cast is announced for the Theatr Clwyd and Menier Chocolate Factory co-production of Tennessee Williams' Orpheus Descending. Theatr Clwyd's Artistic Director Tamara Harvey directs Catrin Aaron (Beulah Binnings), Michael Geary (Pee Wee Binnings), Valentine Hanson (Uncle Pleasant), Jenny Livsey (Eva Temple / Woman), Laura Jane Matthewson (Dolly Hamma), Mark Meadows (Jabe Torrance), Ifan Meredith (David Cutrere / Dog Hamma), Hattie Morahan (Lady Torrance), Seth Numrich (Val Xavier), Ian Porter (Sheriff Talbott), Jemima Rooper (Carol Cutrere), Carol Royle (Vee Talbott) and Carrie Quinlan (Sister / Nurse Porter). Public booking for the Menier Chocolate Factory dates opens at 9am today.

Ain't Too Proud has hit Broadway! CBS Sunday Morning recently did a feature on the production, where they talked to the show's cast and creatives about their journey.

One of the hearts of theatre in LA, Center Theatre Group has announced its 53rd season at the Ahmanson Theatre featuring seven shows from all across the theatrical spectrum including musicals, one-person plays, the return of an iconic dance theatre piece plus one production to be announced at a later date.

The Original Broadway Cast Recording of the new musical Ain't Too Proud The Life and Times of The Temptations will be released by UMe this spring. The album, which was recorded earlier this year, is available for pre-orders beginning today, and will be released on March 21 on physical CDs, sold exclusively at the Imperial Theatre (249 West 45th Street), with the digital album available on March 22. The CD will be available in wide release on April 19, and a double-LP vinyl will be available on June 7.

Ain't Too Proud is heading for Broadway! The musical, about the life of The Temptations, will play Broadway's Imperial Theatre beginning Thursday, February 28, 2019, with an official Opening Night set for Thursday, March 21, 2019.
