Artistic Director Robert Lyons proudly presents the 24th annual Obie Award-winning Ice Factory Festival. Ice Factory 2017 takes place at New Ohio Theatre, located at 154 Christopher Street between Greenwich and Washington Streets in New York City. Ice Factory 2017 will present seven new works over seven weeks, running June 28 - August 12.

The annual Playwrights for a Cause benefit, hosted by Planet Connections Theatre Festivity, addresses powerful social and topical issues in our society through the works of prominent playwrights. This year, the event will feature stories of standing up to injustice written by celebrated authors, Catherine Filloux, Lyle Kessler, Jose Rivera, and Regina Taylor. True Right runs now through July 15 as part of the 24th annual OBIE Award-winning Ice Factory Festival. Ice Factory 2017 will present 7 new works over 7 weeks, running through August 12 at New Ohio Theatre (154 Christopher St.) in NYC. The 15th Anniversary festival of LGBT arts features two weeks of theater, dance, musicals, cabaret, art, and more! 

This year, the event will be Sunday, July 23, and will benefit the New York Civil Liberties Union with 'The Protest Plays,' stories of standing up to injustice written by celebrated authors, CATHERINE FILLOUX, Lyle Kessler, JOSE RIVERA, and Regina Taylor.

Established in 1991, All Out Arts is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit devoted to bringing together the diverse artistic, organizational, political and financial resources of the LGBTQ community in order to fight intolerance. All Out Arts fulfills its mission by supporting arts organizations within the community through fiscal sponsorship, events, contests, collaborations, networking events for emerging artists, and by sponsoring productions, concerts and exhibitions of visual arts. We confront homophobia through the humanizing influence of the arts, and the Fresh Fruit Festival is the primary expression of the All Out Arts mission.

La MaMa presents Clover, a new experimental theater drama about America's history of violence by Erik Ehn, directed by Glory Kadigan with original music by Maya Solovey and original puppet design & puppetry direction by Jeanette Oi-Suk Yew.  Performances will be staged at the First Floor Theatre at La MaMa, 74a East 4th Street,New York, NY 10003 from December 1-16, 2016.
