Royal Ballet's Leanne Benjamin Returns to Australia for Honors

More than three decades after she left regional Queensland as a teenager to pursue her dreams on the international stage, one of Australia's most accomplished dancers, Leanne Benjamin, will return home to be appointed a Member of the Order of Australia (AM).

FRANCES CHUNG and TIIT HELIMETS, principal dancers of the San Francisco Ballet, will appear as guest artists in the Allen Civic Ballet/Allen Philharmonic's joint production of Swan Lake Act III on May 16, 2015 at the Performing Arts Center at Allen High School in Allen, Texas. Ms. Chung and Mr. Helimets will be dancing the Black Swan Pas de Deux as part of this production. Ms. Chung and Mr. Helimets will also teach master classes prior to this performance.

Dance Theatre of Tennessee (DTT) brings to life one of best-loved classical ballets of all time - Swan Lake Act 2. DTT will present this timeless classic as part of its 2011-12 opening season series entitled At 75 - A Tribute to Elaine Thomas, DTT's assistant artistic director on Friday, September 30 and Saturday, October 1 at 8 p.m. at Harpeth Hall Auditorium.
