A good farce is hard to find, but based on the overwhelming response to last year's Boeing-Boeing, Northern Stage searched for another laugh-out-loud, door-slamming, disguise-wearing, secret-hiding comedy. Community Film Studio Santa Barbara presents their first feature-length film THE BET at the Arlington Theatre (Santa Barbara, CA) on April 19th and 20th, 2013 at 7 p.m. This delightful romantic comedy marks the directorial debut of Finola Hughes, veteran film and television actress and local Carpinteria resident. The film was produced by Christine Fry, James Kahn, and Jack Presnal. Annie J. Dahlgren and Christina Eliason wrote the script, which pits a teenager against his grandfather in a wager over who will find love first.
