January 13, 2005…On the 20th Anniversary year of Jay McInerney's novel 'Bright Lights, Big City,' Sh-K-Boom Records has announced that they will release on CD Paul Scott Goodman's rock-and-roll opera 'Bright Lights, Big City' starring Patrick Wilson, Jesse L. Martin, Sherie Rene Scott and other stars of stage and screen in April 2005.

Adam Pascal will be making a few TV appearances this week, performing and promoting tunes from his latest CD - 'Civilian.' Adam will appear on January 6, 2004 on ABC's 'The View' and later in the week on January 8th, he'll appear on CBS' Early Show as the Second Cup Cafe' band. Check local listings for details.

ight Records founder Kurt Deutsch will gather the all-star cast of the recent Actors Fund of American benefit concert of the Galt MacDermont-Gerome Ragni-James Radio musical HAIR for a marathon all-day recording session on Friday, October 1. The recording, to be produced by Deutsch and Joel Moss, will feature the complete score and original orchestrations of the classic '60's musical. Benefit producer and musical director Seth Rudetsky will conduct the recording.

Elton John & Tim Rice's AIDA begins its final 16 performances at the Palace Theatre (1564 Broadway) tomorrow, Tuesday, August 24 following its triumphant 54-month run on Broadway. AIDA will close on Sunday, September 5 after playing 1,844 performances.
