On June 7th, the cast of Irish Repertory's production of Finian's Rainbow went into the studios to record their cast album for Sh-K-Boom Records and BroadwayWorld.com was there!

The album will be released on a new imprint under the Sh-K-Boom Label (www.sh-k-boom.com). This new imprint will be dedicated to classic musicals, old and new, and contemporary vocalists and composers. The official release date will be announced soon. Proceeds from the album will benefit the Irish Repertory Theatre.

Joel Moss will produce the disc. Moss has over 35 years' experience in a wide range of musical styles, from Rock and Jazz to Country and Classical, Film Music to Broadway Cast Recordings, he has been a participant and innovator with artists as diverse as Little Richard to Tony Bennett and Aerosmith to The Hollywood Bowl Orchestra. Moss along with Sh-K-Boom president Kurt Deutsch produced the recording of Michel Legrand's "Amour", which also starred Melissa Errico and Malcolm Gets.
