Ghostlight Records founder Kurt Deutsch will gather the all-star cast of the recent Actors Fund of American benefit concert of the Galt MacDermont-Gerome Ragni-James Radio musical HAIR for a marathon all-day recording session on Friday, October 1. The recording, to be produced by Deutsch and Joel Moss, will feature the complete score and original orchestrations of the classic '60's musical. Benefit producer and musical director Seth Rudetsky will conduct the recording.

The recording will also feature Harris Doran as Claude as well as a chorus of 20.
The Actors Fund of America benefit performance of HAIR, presented at the New Amsterdam Theatre on September 20 raised over $500,000 for the non-profit organization and marked the fourth annual concert in the series, following Dreamgirls, Funny Girl and Chess. Profits from this Ghostlight Records' release will be donated to the Actors' Fund.
Ghostlight Records, a new division of the independent record label SH-K-Boom Records, will be launched on November 16 with the same day release of three new recordings: the City Center Encores! production of Romberg-Hammerstein's The New Moon; the Irish Repertory Theatre's production of the Lane-Harburg classic Finian's Rainbow; and In Your Dreams, a new studio recording by Tony Award winning actress-singer Christine Ebersole, with pianist Billy Stritch, based on their highly acclaimed cabaret show.
