At 6:30pm, tonight, April 8th producer Marty Richards' feast of friends and loved ones will gather in celebration of his extremely accomplished life at The Edison Ballroom (240 West 47th Street) where they will be served a magnificent four-course dinner and be entertained by a star-studded retrospective of show-stopping numbers from Mr. Richards' acclaimed Broadway musicals including Chicago, On The Twentieth Century, The Life, Grand Hotel, Sweeney Todd, La Cage Aux Folles, Sweet Smell Of Success, The Will Rogers Follies and Chita Rivera: The Dancer's Life.

Rain on Saturday night (Feb. 23) did not dampen the spirits of more than 700 concertgoers to fill the historic performance venue The Town Hall in Times Square for the post-Valentine concert of 'Les Miserables' alums Adam Jacobs and Ali Ewoldt.

Rehearsals began this week in Atlanta, GA, for the Alliance Theatre's production of ZORRO, a thrilling new musical. Zorro, 'the fox,' was created in 1919 by the writer Johnston McCulley for his serialized novel 'The Curse of Capistrano,' and went on to be immortalized in print, on film, in television and even video games. The Dirty Sock Funtime Band performs a concert for families at The Jewish Museum on Sunday, February 24 at 2:00 pm. Nominated Best Kid's Band by Time Out New York Kids, this high energy group brings a carnival atmosphere to its performance, filled with call backs, sing-alongs, dance-alongs and jam-alongs. To celebrate the holiday of Purim, kids are invited to come in costume and dance to such klezmer rock songs as ClownaHagila. Members of the band include lead singer Michael Messer, Adam Jacobs aka Mr. Clown; guitarists Stephen Jacobs and Bill 'Billy Z.' Phillips; bass guitarist Jasper Leak; drummer Sean Dixon; clarinetist/saxophonist Ken Thomson; and dancer Annie Elmer. This concert is for children age 3 and up.
