HISTORY(TM) today announced that a U.S. version of Top Gear, the award-winning BBC series will begin production today. The 10-episode series is being made by BBC Worldwide Productions and showcases an offbeat celebration of automobiles and driving. Premiering fall 2010 on HISTORY, the show will be hosted by comedian Adam Ferrara, champion rally and drift racer Tanner Foust and racing analyst Rutledge Wood. The announcement was made today by Nancy Dubuc, President and General Manager, HISTORY.

Tuesday nights this summer are going to be a lot more entertaining as FX is pairing its Emmy(R) and Golden Globe(R) nominated drama Rescue Me with its new comedy series Louie beginning June 29. The sixth and penultimate season of Rescue Me will air Tuesdays at 10:00 PM ET/PT leading into the premiere season of Louie at 11:00 PM ET/PT.

Although TV viewers know Denis Leary as the Emmy/Golden Globe-nominated dramatic star of FX's hit series Rescue Me, his career began in Boston comedy clubs as a stand-up. His 'second' tour return to those comedy roots, The Rescue Me Comedy Tour 2, will showcase Leary's politically-incorrect style of humor at PlayhouseSquare June 22 at 8 pm. (Tickets go on sale Fri., April 9th at 11 am.)
