Globally, bullying is a problem facing many school aged children. It is a comfort to know that many are looking for ways to curb bullying and make the world a better place for our children. On Monday, February 8, 2016, to celebrate it's expansion to the East Coast, the international anti-bullying organization No Bully will be rocking Feinstein's/54 Below with their fundraising concert BROADWAY AGAINST BULLYING.

Feinstein's/54 Below just presented Andrew Lloyd Webber and Jim Steinman's WHISTLE DOWN THE WIND: IN CONCERT, featuring Josh Young, Justin Matthew Sargent, Emerson Steele, Brian Charles Rooney, Jessica Waxman, Gregory Sullivan, Melissa VanPelt, Joshua Colley, Peyton Ella and The Shapiro Sisters. Produced by Van Dean, WHISTLE DOWN THE WIND included musical direction by Jacob Carr and direction by Pat Cerasaro. Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) will celebrate its 24th year as a not-for-profit service organization with its annual gala, the TRU Love Benefit. This year's theme is Making Our Gardens Grow, and a stellar lineup of Broadway stars has joined the cast: Bryce Pinkham (The Heidi Chronicles, Tony nominee for A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder), Tony Award Winner and Grammy Nominee Milly Shapiro (Matilda), and more.

On September 2nd and 3rd, You're A Good Man Charlie Brown The Musical, is coming to 54 BELOW. But this isn't your usual production of the show. This concert version of the musical will have a cast of kids, (12-13 years old) which is different from past productions of the show, since it is usually performed with a cast of adults playing children.

Broadway Records announced today that the Original Off-Broadway Cast Recording of Liberty: A Monumental New Musical, will be released on CD and digitally on Tuesday, May 5th. It is now available for pre-order on the Broadway Records website at http://www.broadwayrecords.com/cds/liberty as well as on Amazon.com and other select retailers.

An all-star line-up of Broadway performers united to honor legendary composer, Stephen Sondheim. The evening celebrated the journey of Woods and Sondheim from stage to screen. Film talent in attendance included actors Billy Magnussen, Lilla Crawford and MacKenzie Mauzy. Performances included music from Into the Woods as well as other Sondheim classics sung by feature film and Broadway talent including Lilla Crawford, Tituss Burgess, Lance Horne, Norm Lewis, Michael McElroy & Broadway Inspirational Voices, Abby Mueller, Andrew Nielson, Kristin Olness, Molly Pope, Christopher Sieber, Brian Sills, Catherine Walker, Trevor Vaughn, Michael-Leon Wooley, Karen Ziemba, Chip Zien and more.

Following its successful Off-Broadway run at New York City's Theatre 80 in the Fall of 2014, LIBERTY: A MONUMENTAL NEW MUSICAL kicked off a crowdfunding campaign via Indiegogo for their cast recording. Early in 2015 the cast of LIBERTY and its writers went into the studio at John Kilgore Sound & Recording to make a cast album. BroadwayWorld was invited in for a sneak peek and to hear some of the recording as it happened.

The concert features an all female cast singing songs from across the musical theatre spectrum about, well, love. The love we make, the love we take, the love we find, and the love we hold onto - this evening will see and sing us through it all.
