2017 Regional Theatre Tony Award Recipient Dallas Theater Center (DTC) announced that Ana Hagedorn will be joining the Diane and Hal Brierley Resident Acting Company at the beginning of the 2018-2019 season as the Linda and Bill Custard SMU Meadows Actor.

 Dallas Theater Center announced today complete details for Electra beginning on April 4 with a Pay-What-You-Can performance and running through May 21 in the outdoor venue of the Annette Strauss Square at the AT&T Performing Arts Center. Dallas Theater Center Artistic Director Kevin Moriarty has announced two new members to DTC's Diane and Hal Brierley Resident Acting Company. Adam A. Anderson and Tiana Kaye Johnson will be joining the Brierley Resident Acting Company for the 2016-2017 season.

THREE DAY HANGOVER - the acclaimed interactive theater company called "infectious and impressive" by The New York Times - will present a new adaptation of Moliere's classic farce from November 4 to November 21. Spring Green's American Players Theatre presents Shaw's riveting drama at the Up the Hill Theatre this fall, a diverting play that discusses contemporary medical issues even though written over 100 years ago. In Shaw's play, Blenkinsop represents a physician who serves the less fortunate in London society, and when he himself becomes sick, has few means or time to cure his patients, much less himself.

Trinity Rep opens its 49th season this month with Shakespeare's sweeping tragedy King Lear, a co-production with The Dallas Theater Center (DTC) and directed by DTC artistic director Kevin Moriarty. When the aging King Lear decides to divide his power between his three daughters, the results are devastating to the family - and the country. Driven by flattery, foolishness, ambition and greed, each generation soon betrays another and even nature itself revolts. King Lear runs through October 21 in Trinity Rep's intimate Dowling Theater.
