The Marriott Theatre has announced that their original production of HERO, a new musical with book and concept by Aaron Thielen and music and lyrics by Michael Mahler, will be produced by the Asolo Repertory Theatre in Sarasota, Florida, April 29 through June 1, 2014. The Marriott Theatre presented the World Premiere production of HERO in the summer of 2012. That production received two 2012 Joseph Jefferson awards including Best New Musical and Best Supporting Actor-musical. Eleven-time Jeff award-winner David H. Bell will direct.
