The Marriott Theatre Presents I LOVE YOU, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE, Opening 6/12

Off-Broadway's longest-running, smash hit musical comedy celebrating the triumphs and trials of the modern-day mating game I LOVE YOU, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE takes the stage at The Marriott Theatre, 10 Marriott Drive, Lincolnshire June 5, opening June 12 and running through August 11. The witty script and lyrics by playwright/lyricist Joe DiPietro and composer Jimmy Roberts showcase a dizzying spectrum of male/female relationships as four actors journey through a hilarious series of vignettes which cleverly explore the trials and tribulations of single life, dating, marriage, loss and heartbreak. The laugh-inducing, award-winning production will be directed and choreographed by Matt Raftery.

A hit in over 400 cities worldwide, I LOVE YOU, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE pays tribute to the complexities and absurdities of awkward, intimate moments in relationships including bad first dates, meeting the parents and family trips. From dating and waiting, to love and marriage, to the agonies and triumphs of in-laws and newborns and pick-up techniques of the golden age set, this hilarious musical pays tribute to those who have loved and lost, to those who have fallen on their face at the portal of romance, and to those who have dared to ask, "Say, what are you doing Saturday night?"

Lead Artistic Director Aaron Thielen heads the Artistic Team for I LOVE YOU, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE with Music Direction by Ryan T. Nelson. The design team includes Set Design by Tom Ryan, Costume Design by Nancy Missimi, Lighting Design by Jesse Klug, Sound Design by Bob Gilmartin and Props Design by Sally Weiss. Music is handled by Patti Garwood (piano/conductor) and Steve Winkler (violin).

The performance schedule is Wednesdays at 1:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays at 8:00 p.m., Saturdays at 4:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., and Sundays at 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Ticket prices range from $40 to $48, excluding tax and handling fees. Students 17 and under and senior citizen 62 and older receive $5.00 off a full price theatre ticket for Wednesday Matinee, Saturday Matinee, Sunday Matinee and Sunday Afternoon performances. On Wednesday and Thursday evenings a limited number of Dinner and Theatre tickets are available for only $55.00 per person.
