Maine State Music Theatre closes out its 2016 season in Brunswick with MAMMA MIA!, the Broadway smash-hit based on songs of pop super group, ABBA. MAMMA MIA! runs from August 10 to August 27. Due to popular demand, three matinees have been added on August 13, 20, and 27.

Richmond Triangle Players hosts a one-night-only concert reading of the road-trip musical comedy Murphy's Law with book, music, and lyrics by Andy Nagraj and Jonathan Spivey on Monday, July 25 at 8 PM. This concert reading is Richmond's first - but not final - taste of the musical since the original workshop at the Modlin Center for the Arts at the University of Richmond in 2004.
Kicking-off Adirondack Theatre Festival's (ATF) 22nd summer season of professional theatre is ISLAND SONG. Performances will be held at the Charles R. Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas becomes a part of Nashville holiday tradition, as the Broadway musical version of the timeless tale is brought to life on the stage of The Grand Ole Opry House through December 27, featuring an artful blending of local talents with out-of-town performers joining them in Music City to help tell the story.
THE TAMING OF THE SHREW, directed by Utah Shakespeare Festival Founder Fred C. Adams, is a huge hit, which has prompted the Festival to add two matinee performances of this hilarious battle of the sexes.
