FOX announced changes to its fall premiere schedule today. The 2009-2010 season will kick off Wednesday, Sept. 9 with the sixth season premiere of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) followed by the series premiere of GLEE (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT).

In addition, encores of GLEE will run on Fridays at 9:00/8:00c for its first two weeks while a special "extended director's cut" of the pilot will air on Wednesday, September 2 (with another encore on Friday, September 4).

Hulu, the online video service that offers hit TV shows, movies and clips at Hulu.com and other online destination sites, is rewarding fans of GLEE with an exclusive first look at an upcoming performance from the series, which means die-hard "Gleeks" won't have to wait until the premiere to get their fix. The never-before-seen video featuring "Mercedes" (Amber Riley) belting out a killer version of Jazmine Sullivan's hit song "Bust Your Windows" is now available, along with the GLEE pilot and several behind-the-scenes extras at hulu.com.

GLEE now premieres Wednesday, Sept. 9 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

Since the GLEE preview event in May, the pilot episode has had more than 1 million hits on Hulu. Read more about the GLEE exclusive from Jason Kilar, Hulu's CEO, on the Hulu blog at blog.hulu.com.

Featuring a soundtrack of hit songs from past and present, GLEE follows an optimistic high school teacher who - against all odds and a malicious cheerleading coach - attempts to restore his school's fading glee club to its former glory, while helping a group of aspiring underdogs realize their true star potential.

GLEE is produced by Ryan Murphy Television in association with 20th Century Fox Television. Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan are co-creators of the series. Murphy, Falchuk and Dante di Loreto serve as executive producers, while Ian Brennan serves as co-executive producer.

From Ryan Murphy, the creator of "Nip/Tuck," comes GLEE, a new comedy that critics have called "incredible, amazing, inspiring and remarkable" and "the hottest new show of the season." The series follows an optimistic teacher who - against all odds and the wishes of his wife -attempts to restore his school's glee club to its former glory, while helping a group of aspiring underdogs realize their true star potential.
