The  Fleur du Cap Theatre Award-winning and multiple-nominated production THE UNLIKELY SECRET AGENT will be performed for a limited season from 20 to 29 October in the Baxter Golden Arrow Studio.

After the ravages of COVID and the struggles of all theatres to remain in business, the show We’ll Meet Again has perhaps even more relevance since it was first performed as a tribute to the songs made popular during World War ll. Running from 13 May to 28 May at Milnerton Playhouse, this multi-media production is directed by Barry Altwig with musical direction by Tersia Harley.

Run and tell that! The cast and creative team of the ground-breaking 2007 South African production of Hairspray will re-unite in a one night only special to raise funds for the Theatre Benevolent Fund, hosted by the wonderful Natasha van der Merwe.

The Waterfront Theatre School, Cape Town's most established college for the Performing Arts, will hold their annual national auditions in Bloemfontein, Durban, Port Elizabeth and Johannesburg from 9 September 2019.  

The Waterfront Theatre School will present From the Top at the Masque Theatre in Muizenberg from 29 August to 7 September 2019. The dazzling annual dance showcase, a sell-out every year, will feature an ensemble cast of 60 dancers, beautifully costumed by the School's Founder and Managing Director, the legendary Delia Sainsbury. The prestigious Waterfront Theatre School (WTS) is well known for its international standard of dance and From the Top will once again bring the incredible versatility of this multidisciplinary performing arts centre to the fore.

Enjoyed by over 250 million viewers around the world, South Africa's longest-running show is finally coming to the North America. African Footprint will kick off its North American tour at the America in the Contemporary Arts Center, in New Orleans on November 1, marking the city's first major theatrical event since Hurricane Katrina.
