Houston Grand Opera (HGO) announces the release of two new episodes of HGOco's web opera series Star-cross'd: "Now" and "A Rose." These works invite audiences to explore 21st-century opera viewing in a new streaming series of short opera films based on true personal experiences with Romeo and Juliet themes. Each episode includes a line from Shakespeare's play about star-crossed lovers, Romeo and Juliet.

CMASH, the new music repertory group dedicated to establishing long-term collaborative relationships between composers and performers and welcoming new audiences to the genre of contemporary chamber music, is proud to announce and welcome John Grimmett in the newly created position of Managing Director. Mr. Grimmett's responsibilities include overseeing marketing and fundraising campaigns, designing and implementing educational initiatives in the communities the company serves, and developing a national audience that further promotes CMASH's mission statement.

Max Crumm (Grease, F#%king Up Everything), Daniel J. Edwards (Anything Goes), Sevan Greene, Adam Halpin (Dogfight, Glory Days), Patty Nieman, Eileen Patterson, Aaron Riesebeck, Katie Thompson (Giant, Big Fish) and Carrington Vilmont (Phantom of the Opera) will be joining the concert cast of 22@54.
