John Anthony Torres

John Anthony Torres, also known as JT, is an actor and model based in New York City. John has been performing since he was a kid. He first picked up dance, then quickly moved on to the flute. Shortly after, he attended and graduated from the Juilliard M.A.P. Division as a teenager. Then John continued his studies at the Rudolf Steiner High school. He went to school alongside actors/performers such as Zoë Kravitz, Anna Suzuki, Jane Stiles, Gabriel Garzon Montano and director Em Weinstein. He later went to Marymount Manhattan College, where he received BFA training in acting. John made his off broadway debut as JOSH, in the NYC premiere of “I Carry Your Heart” by Georgette Kelly. The production lasted for two weeks at the 59E59 Theatres, in April of 2019. During the pandemic he portrayed EDUARDO in a zoom reading of the play “SCAB”, the reading was put on by Premiere Stages; he starred along side Kim Zimmer (Emmy award winning actress). He’s also known for his role as ANTONIO in the short film, “Meditation” and his role as DIEGO PILLCO in the TV show, “The Perfect Murder” on the ID network. You may also recognize his face from the National Best Buy Portrait Campaign: his portrait was selected for a billboard in Time Square; as well as, billboards and media all over the country. John is represented by LAU Management and FFT Models.
