Gina Montalvo

Gina Montalvo (she/they) is a multi-disciplinary Puerto Rican/Italian artist born, raised, and based in Chicago. She graduated with a degree in Theater Arts with minors in Music Recording and Mandarin from DePaul University, and was brought up in a household of professional dancers. Montalvo is a freelance Director, Producer, and Sound Designer with credits from Steppenwolf, Free Street Theater, The Raven Theater, Concrete Content, Theater Wit, and Subtext Studio. Outside of design, she works as a music educator, creates original music for Meowzart (猫 扎特), manages her own production company Hamster Pants Productions, and performs her own music.
