The Southbank Centre has announced a raft of events celebrating the 50th anniversary of David Bowie's iconic 1973 album, Aladdin Sane. Aladdin Sane: 50 Years will feature a two-month long exhibition (6 April - 28 May) exploring the creation of the album's iconic artwork.
Bringing together a cornucopia of collaborators from every period of Bowie’s multi-faceted career, the luminaries in attendance at the event include acclaimed producer Tony Visconti, whose partnership with Bowie across five decades spawned fourteen classic albums from 1969’s Space Oddity to 2016’s Blackstar.
Liverpool, UK will host the David Bowie World Fan Convention, taking place across multiple venues in the city between Fri 17 – Sun 19 June 2022. Some of the highest-profile collaborators and friends of the immeasurably influential, yet private musician are already confirmed to attend.

From July 20-22, the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts presents its second annual District of Comedy Festival, bringing together acclaimed stars and rising acts for an all-laughs takeover of the nation's center for the performing arts. Headlined by a one-night-only NSO Pops concert with Jane Krakowski and Tituss Burgess, the festival, with Presenting Sponsor Capital One, features stand-up shows, music, theater, and performances for children and families in spaces across the Center. The District of Comedy Festival also coincides with a brand new edition of the Kennedy Center's popular collaboration with Chicago's The Second City, which will run for eight weeks in the Theater Lab.
