Over its nearly sixty-year history, Hartford Stage has become synonymous with breathtaking productions of Shakespeare. Since its very first production, Othello in 1964, Connecticut audiences and beyond have traveled to downtown Hartford to experience world-class interpretations of The Bard's favorites and lesser-known works.

The renowned Ping Chong and Company (PCC) joins The New School's Eugene Lang College and College of Performing Arts for a two-day symposium on February 3 and 4, 2023, celebrating the 30-year history of the company's groundbreaking interview-based, community-engaged theater series Undesirable Elements.

Four time Academy Award-nominated actor and director Marsha Mason co-directs and stars in Hartford Stage's forthcoming production of Neil Simon's classic comedy Lost in Yonkers. The production, which is co-directed by Hartford Stage Artistic Producer Rachel Alderman, runs April 7 through May 1, 2022.
