In the summer of 2024 the New York Philharmonic becomes the first US Orchestra to perform in mainland China since 2019 as Music Director Jaap van Zweden leads five concerts across three cities — Guangzhou, Nanjing, and Shanghai — June 27–July 3, 2024.

The New York Philharmonic has announced its 2023-24 season, the farewell season of Jaap van Zweden's tenure as the Orchestra's Music Director.

Usedom Music Festival Orchestra has been awarded 600,000 euros by Federal German State of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.

Last weekend, the New York Philharmonic took to the stage to perform at Peenemünde, where the power plant's turbine hall had been converted to a concert hall some 20 years ago.

The New York Philharmonic is set to take up residency at the Usedom Music Festival, once the secretive home of the Third Reich's rocket and nuclear development program. Andre Previn and his family escaped the Nazis. His music will now be played where Hitler's regime tested its weapons.

For 20 years, the Peenemünde Concerts, a series within the framework of the Usedom Music Festival, have stood for peace and international understanding. In its anniversary year, on the occasion of which the world-famous New York Philharmonic will be making a guest appearance with a European residency on the island of Usedom from 20 to 24 May.

The New York Philharmonic Orchestra will make its guest appearance at Liberty Island Usedom on the Baltic Sea as 'Ambassadors for Peace.'

In mid-May, the New York Philharmonic will come to Mecklenburg-West Pomerania for 3 concerts which State President Birgit Hesse envisions as a starting signal for culture and tourism with international appeal.

The Artist Series Concerts will present classical saxophonist Steven Banks in recital with Xak Bjerken, piano, Sunday, March 27th at 4:00 pm at Temple Sinai, 4631 South Lockwood Ridge Road, Sarasota. The program will include works by Brahms, Paul Creston, Fernande Decruck and a suite of original works composed by Banks himself.

The New York Philharmonic has announced its 2021–22 season, marking the Orchestra’s long-awaited return to subscription performances following an 18-month period of cancellations due to the pandemic. For the first time in modern history the Philharmonic will be performing outside its home for an entire season. 

Violinist Benjamin Baker comes to Pepperdine University's Raitt Recital Hall at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 22, 2020 as the final performer of the Recital Series for the 2019-2020 season.

This August, New York City will host the first ever Classical Bridge, an international music festival, academy and conference designed to build bridges through the music.
