Stephanie LeHane BIO

Stephanie is an Orange County, CA native, and when people respond that "they would never have guessed!" she takes it as a compliment. Having grown up as a sheltered only child, she had occasional bursts of extroversion to interrupt her crippling shyness, the first being performing a lip-sync to "Go The Distance" from HERCULES, complete with a Party City costume, in her first grade talent show. She did it again in junior high, to Weird Al songs, which made her quite popular in the hallways the following day. Having forgotten her obsession with Donny Osmond's JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT she owned on VHS in second grade, Stephanie rediscovered musical theatre as a freshman in college, after coming across the cast recording of Shrek the Musical. She became so enamored with it, that she resolved to learn how to "do that." She found a voice teacher on craigslist, and didn't tell her parents about it for several months, until she auditioned for her college's musical, THE WEDDING SINGER the following fall. She was cast as a waitress/wedding guest/clubber, and didn't have a mic, but she knew in her heart of hearts that she had made it. After having taken a year off of theatre to focus on film and TV, the stage inevitably came calling. Stephanie's professional theatre debut was as Joffrey/Viserys/Bran/Ghost in the 2019 LA remount of Shame Of Thrones: The Musical at the Whitefire Theater in Sherman Oaks. Stephanie currently resides in Los Angeles, and when she's not performing in some form, she enjoys playing softball, sampling craft beer, and eating pan dulce.

Review: SHAME OF THRONES: The Musical Comically Spoofs the Feuding Lannister, Stark, and Targaryen Families

Presented through July 8 at part of the Whitefire Theatre Musical Mondays, the updated and unrated SHAME OF THRONES: The Musical, directed by Rachel Stein, produced by Steven Christopher Parker, Steven Brandon, Erin Stegeman, and Ace Marrero is a riotous romp through not only the beginning of the series where all of the major characters were introduced, but also manages to throw in plenty of groan-worthy jabs at every character and situation during its entire run.
