Santo D. Marabella

Santo D. Marabella is a writer, producer and educator. He has written plays, a musical and short-films. His play, Getting COMPLETE, the story about what happens when the bully grows up, will have its world premiere in an off-off Broadway production, opening January 14, 2027, for a three-weekend run at the Theater for the New City. Il Mio Posto a Tavola (ill ME-oh POS-to ah TAHV’-oh-la) My Place at the Table, a first-person documentary film is his current film project; and, The Index Card, his current play in development.

Some of his past work includes the play, Rocky Road Ain’t Always Sweet, a look at grief, losses and loneliness (it’s more fun than it sounds!) and the short film, The Caregiver, about family caregiving. He was a producer of This Is Reading by Lynn Nottage, and was named 2018 Entertainment Newsmaker of the Year by the Reading Eagle. Marabella is a rostered Teaching Artist for the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a member of the Dramatist Guild of America, The Lambs®. and Theatre Communications Group.
