THE GREEN ROOM 42 Broadway's newest intimate concert venue will present a special evening of original music from composer and lyricist Steven Jamail on Monday, January 28 at 7:00 PM.

High school election musical VOTE! will play a limited run at Los Angeles's Rockwell Table and Stage for six performances only-- January 11,12,13 and 18,19, 20. Executive produced by Kate Pazakis, the show, with book and lyrics by Ryann Ferguson and Music and lyrics by Steven Jamail is co-directed by Ferguson, and Haviland Stillwell, the first actress to ever play the lead role.

Above the Curve Theatre mounts a sturdy workshop production of VOTE! THE MUSICAL with loads of potential. Anthony Marquez (nicely underplaying laid-back skater/skier dude Mike) and Angela Cole (fetchingly limning a flirty Muffin) run away with the show's best scenes. Their seduction duet 'D Gates' registers Hot! and their reprise of 'Everyone Has a dream' arouses in the most ambitious sense.

Whether you know her as the increasingly complicated serial murderer 'A' on ABC Family's PRETTY LITTLE LIARS, or as half of 'Jamko' on CBS crime drama BLUE BLOODS, chances are, unless you are a dedicated musical theatre fan, you might not know that Vanessa Ray is a musical theatre girl at heart. Before joining the cast of soap opera AS THE WORLD TURNS, which jump-started her TV career, Vanessa starred in regional productions, national tours, and on Broadway in shows like FOOTLOOSE, SPELLING BEE, and HAIR. Along the way, she became friends with Broadway's favorite singing, dancing videographer Andrew Keenan-Bolger, whom we have to thank for a lot of these videos!

MODERN FAMILY star Sarah Hyland is currently appearing in the musical SCREAM! alongside Jonah Platt, Missi Pyle, Christine Lakin, and Nicole Parker. This year, the Children's Musical Theater Festival (CMTF) features 60 theater-loving kids from all over the world, performing in two family-friendly musicals, created by up-and-coming theater writers. CMTF nurtures and educates these aspiring young actors who are selected to participate in a weeklong educational program, culminating in performances of the selected original works. Performances are held on July 21-22.
