THE GREEN ROOM 42 Broadway's newest intimate concert venue will present a special evening of original music from composer and lyricist Steven Jamail on Monday, January 28 at 7:00 PM.

From quirky to sweeping, audiences can expect tunes voiced by doomed monarchs, klutzy fairies, hungry zombies and death row divas featuring the talents of Orfeh, Derek Klena, Rebecca Luker, Katie Rose Clarke, Janet Dacal, Kathryn Allison, Raymond J. Lee, Liisi La Fontaine, Stephanie Gibson, Danielle Hope, Autumn Hurlbert, Lauren Blackman, Kayley Anne Collins, Teal Wicks, Nikki Kimbrough, Mia Gerachis, Cameron Hill, Coleman Hemsath, and Helen Regula as well as a seven-piece band. Steve Bebout directs the evening that features music supervision by Jeremy Yaddaw and collaborations with writers Katie Rose Clarke, Ryann Ferguson, Kirsten Guenther, Bobby Pearce, Krystin Crain Johnson, and Tony Award-winner Joe DiPietro.

Steven Jamail is a composer and lyricist originally from Galveston, TX, whose original music and arrangements have been performed at The White House, on Broadway, at New York City Center, Lincoln Center and The Public Theater. Television work includes original music and/or lyrics and arrangements for The Rachael Ray Show, Howard Stern's 60th Birthday Special, The Martha Stewart Show, The Apprentice, The Rosie Show, the 2014 Winter Olympics and NBC's Christmas at Rockefeller Center. He has conducted Broadway tribute concerts for Chita Rivera, Queen Latifah, Cyndi Lauper and Sir Ian McKellan and his arrangement of Fever with Rosie O'Donnell was featured on the final episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show. He is a regular music director and arranger for Tony nominees Andy Karl and Orfeh, Olympic medalist Jeremy Abbott, Broadway leading ladies Katie Rose Clarke, Teal Wicks, Rachelle Rak, Catherine Walker, Stephanie Gibson and UK star, Danielle Hope. Most recently, he conducted and orchestrated the world premiere of the stage musical Born for This for Grammy Award-winner, BeBe Winans. Steven serves as the music supervisor for Rosie's Theater Kids in Manhattan.

The Songs of Steven Jamail will debut at The Green Room 42 (570 Tenth Avenue at 42nd Street, on the 4th Floor of Yotel) on Monday, January 28 at 7:00 PM. The cover charge is $25-$50. There is no food and drink minimum. For tickets, please visit www.TheGreenRoom42.com.
