Write Out Loud - an organization founded in 2007 with a commitment to inspire, challenge and entertain by reading literature aloud for a live audience  - presents VOICES OF IRELAND,  their ninth annual celebration of the Emerald Isle, with classic and contemporary Irish tales and music. VOICES OF IRELAND is performed for one night only on Monday, March 18th at 7:30pm at Lamb's Players Theatre.  Performers include Ron Choularton, Rachael VanWormer, Paul Maley, Walter Ritter & Veronica Murphy. Lamb's Players Theatre today announced their comedic hit The Foreigner, currently playing at the Horton Grand Theatre, downtown will extend through May 18th. The show will take a brief hiatus after the April 13th performance and reopen on April 23rd.

Cygnet Theatre has announced a Season 12 lineup that reveals common threads of identity, redemption and 'what really makes a family.' Cygnet Artistic Director Sean Murray and Executive Director Bill Schmidt have assembled a package of plays and musicals for the 2014-2015 season that will take theater-goers on a typical Cygnet-style journey from campy musicals and great American plays to works by up-and-coming young playwrights and audience favorites.

While Cygnet's mainstage buzzes with the highly praised productions of not one, but three Alan Ayckbourn comedies in its current run of THE NORMAN CONQUESTS, the continuation of the Playwright Companion Series will offer with not one, but two opportunities to dig deeper into the esteemed playwrights work with upcoming 'partner pieces.' Ayckbourn's overnight smash, RELATIVELY SPEAKING will be presented on Monday, September 13th at 7:00pm and TIME OF MY LIFE will be presented on Monday, September 27th at 7:00pm. Both readings will be performed at Cygnet Theatre in Old Town.
