Ray Singh BIO
Ray Singh will be making not only his San Jose Rep debut, but his first American stage appearance in Disconnect. Born in London, to Guyanese parentage, Mr. Singh graduated with a Masters from ArtsEd, one of the United Kingdom’s leading drama schools. His London stage appearances include Twelfth Night (Antonio), Merchant of Venice (Antonio), Lady from the Sea (Lyngstrand), Absolute Hell (Nigel), and Terrorism (Colonel). He made his American television debut as recurring character Nurse Howard on ABC’s Grey's Anatomy. Mr. Singh also recurs in the online series Where the Bears Are, created by writers of The Golden Girls and The Brady Bunch Movie. Mr. Singh is named behind the inspiration of Janet Jackson’s hit song Together Again and his other work includes training students at Loyola Law School. Mr. Singh is pleased to add his artistic talents to Disconnect and sends gratitude to everyone who supports this remarkable play.
Ray is fully eligible to work in both the USA and UK and now resides in Los Angeles.

Cast And Creative Team Announced For The World Premiere Of THE LOVELY BONES at Royal & Derngate
The full cast and creative team have been confirmed for the world premiere of The Lovely Bones, one of the best-selling novels of the 21st century. Adapted for the stage by Bryony Lavery from Alice Sebold's story and directed by Melly Still, it will open at Royal & Derngate, Northampton on 1 September 2018 before transferring to partner theatres Everyman Liverpool, Northern Stage, Newcastle and Birmingham Repertory Theatre. The show will also tour to The New Wolsey Theatre, Ipswich.

San Jose Rep will leap into the spring season with the truly fresh, thought-provoking play Disconnect. Playwright Anupama Chandrasekhar, a former journalist, was prompted to write the play due to the sense of disconnect she experienced while in India - disconnect between two worlds, disconnect between what is real and not real, disconnect in human relationships, and disconnect in communication. Chandrasekhar will be traveling from India to San Jose Rep to attend the West Coast premiere of her successful play, as well as participating in the Rep's 'Insight Night' and other public speaking forums.
