The Hangar Theatre will present 2018 successes, programming updates, and officially vote in new Board members at their Annual Meeting on March 18, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. at the theatre (801 Taughannock Blvd., Ithaca). In the world premiere of his WATCHING O.J., playwright David McMillan deftly balances both sides of the black and white/innocent vs. guilty/jubilant and angry reactions of a multi-racial neighborhood in their varied responses to the infamous O.J. Simpson verdict in 1995. A cross-section of races and occupations make a volatile combustion fueled by the explosive portrayals of the stellar cast.

The Hangar Theatre celebrated their accomplishments of 2013 at their annual meeting on Monday, April 7th where one business organization and three community members were recognized as substantially impacting the artistic integrity and financial health of the Center for Performing Arts. Board members, staff, volunteers, and community members all gathered to celebrate the continual success of the Hangar and the positive impact of those who so generously contribute their time and resources to the Hangar Theatre.
