Bobby Moynihan & More to Join Story Pirates For Literacy Program Benefit Show


After a two-year pandemic hiatus, the Story Pirates will perform live and in-person for a full-cast comedy-improv show based on kids' ideas on Sunday, March 13 at the Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles. All proceeds will benefit their non-profit Story Pirates Changemakers.

King Lear opens Chicago Shakespeare's 2014/15 season in the Courtyard Theater, September 9-November 9, 2014.

Dominating the nominations in the musical category is the current Broadway sensation 'A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder,' which made its world premiere in February 2013 at San Diego's The Old Globe (a co-production with Hartford Stage). 'Communal Spaces: a Garden Play Festival' Teams with Harvest Festival, 9/27-29


This year, "Communal Spaces: a garden play festival" will share its final weekend with the LUNGS Harvest Art Festival, a multidimensional arts festival that reflects the creative spirit of the neighborhood and the integral part that community gardens play in the culture and life of Lower East Side. Last year, Communal Spaces' play 'Don't Weep for Me, Willow Tree' was featured as part of the festival. This year, all the plays will be part of the weekend of arts events. Admission is free.
