Alley Cat Theater To Produce PLANK
Alley Cat Theater will present Plank, a new play by John Greiner-Ferris and directed by Megan Schy Gleeson. Plank will open on Saturday, August 26 at the Calderwood Pavilion at the Boston Center for the Arts where it will run until Saturday, September 16.
Alley Cat Theater Presenting Staged Reading at CABINET OF CURIOSITIES
Alley Cat Theater (www.alleycattheater.org) will present a staged reading of the script of its upcoming production, Plank, by John Greiner-Ferris and directed by Megan Schy Gleeson, on Wednesday, May 17 at 7:30 p.m. on the main stage of Charlestown Working Theater. The staged reading will be part of the three-week CABINET OF CURIOSITIES FESTIVAL being produced by Theatre on Fire and Charlestown Working Theater. The staged reading is free to the public.
Alley Cat Theater Awarded $15,000 LAB Grant
The Boston Foundation recently awarded Alley Cat Theater a Live Arts Boston grant in support of Alley Cat Theater and the full-length play, Plank, by John Greiner-Ferris and directed by Megan Schy Gleeson, to be produced at the Calderwood Pavilion at the Boston Center for the Arts from August 26 to September 16, 2017.

Boston Playwrights' Theatre season concludes with Peter M. Floyd's ABSENCE, a witty and poignant exploration of a 76-year old woman's decline and the impact on her family relationships. Understudy Kippy Goldfarb stepped in and stepped up on the opening weekend for ailing Joanna Merlin and knocked it out of the park.
