On Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 7:30pm, Carnegie Hall presents the American Composers Orchestra (ACO) in America in Weimar: On the Margins at Zankel Hall. 

Carnegie Hall presents the American Composers Orchestra in 'America in Weimar: On the Margins' featuring new works by John Glover, Kelley Rourke, Jerod Tate, and Tonia Ko. The program explores the United States' influence on the pre-World War II Weimar period.

Jerod Impichchaachaaha' Tate today released the recording of Lowak Shoppala' (Fire and Light) on Azica Records. Lowak Shoppala' expresses Chickasaw identity through the medium of modern classical music and theatre through eight scenes and features orchestra, narration of a libretto by Chickasaw poet and Pulitzer Prize finalist Linda Hogan and more.

On Friday, June 4, 2021, composer Jerod Impichchaachaaha' Tate will release the world premiere recording of Lowak Shoppala' (Fire and Light) on Azica Records. Commissioned by American Composers Forum, the 2009 staged world premiere of Lowak Shoppala' featured the Chickasaw Nation Dance Troupe.

Shakespeare & Company presents A Perfect Pair of Wharton Comedies. Based on short stories originally penned by the Berkshires' legendary Edith Wharton, Roman Fever and The Fullness of Life have been adapted by Shakespeare & Company Founding Member and Training Director Dennis Krausnick. The Wharton Comedies will run at the Elayne P. Bernstein Theatre as part of their 2017 season August 17 through September 10.
