His volume The Laughing Monkeys Of Gravity was nominated for the National Book Award in Poetry. The Painted Clock, a new volume, is forthcoming. He has published poems and articles in various newspapers, magazines, and chapbooks. His first chapbook, Signs of Life, includes his best work. Jack Tricarico is a painter and poet who also teaches tai chi and lives in the East Village.
